Dextrose is a type of sugar that usually comes from corn. Dextrose is used in baking and sweets making artificial sweetener or a preservative.

We use it mainly for marshmallow making in the Moreish studio.

Dextrose is produced from corn starch, with corn syrup being a common precursor.
