It is fat soluble and is generally used for buttercream and chocolate work where you require a whiter result. A small amount added to your recipe will remove its natural yellow colour of chocolate or buttercream

It can also be used to turn fondant icing, modelling paste & flower paste into a brilliant shade of white. Same with royal icing.
